From this post forward we'll be caught up to date. Today the chick is 12 days old.

It isn't showing much signs of having a comb so far, it's still very young though

No shoulder feathers sneaking in yet either, I understand that they can be another early sign of a cockerel.
Some of the splash chicks hatch mates do already have shoulder feathers.

& drum roll please... ... ... we have darker colored feathers coming in on it's wings!

One last shot today with it's brothers and sisters.

I hope you've all enjoyed the updates so far. This weekend the chick will be 2 weeks old, we plan on taking them outside for the first time.
We're expecting warm, sunny, perfect picture taking weather!
