I think I need to stay away from the commercial meat breeds...

An the second 6 dozen were all clears but 5 eggs. I have a supplier of RIR eggs that I set the first of this weekend an my hens are starting to lay again. Got 3 eggs from them today.

An these eggs come from a big producer that is paid for eggs that hatch.....I took 60 dozen of the 300+ dozen offered to me. They ate good though.... 40 plus family members agreed....
