Watch them hatch Live!! (Hatching Webcam)

I candled them tonight an put them in to lock-down. At least one has already piped in to the air cell so we are on hatch watch now.

I know far left one camera 1 has 2 pips in its right side an one from top right has a pip on the left side in camera 2.


My hens are not laying so I have been on the hunt for eggs... These are some that on there way to a corporate owned incubator they somehow got lost an found there way in mine. They are commercial broilers.

Fred-I was just on your website yesterday and watched the video about calculating the hygrometer. Good stuff. Thanks. I also read about carton hatching. I am a bit confused. You don't seem to promote this according to what you have posted but every time I have watched your hatchings they do seem to be in cartons.

My big issue with the carton hatch is that the eggs are standing strait up an cupping moisture around the chicks head. I would not use it at all but for keeping them in sight of the cameras. But my cartons are up on there side on the wall an the eggs are at there natural angle. I think holding them still is fine but the hatching vertically I don't like. That carton hatch page does need updated an expanded on.

I understand what you mean now about the cartons. That seems to make sense. I have tried both ways now and the carton hatch was so much better for me. I think I will try your method the next time (in 14 days). Thanks Marlon. Good to meet you!
