Watch this hawk get pestered by crows 😁👍🐦‍⬛

Hi all!
Just thought some of you might be entertained by this. I'm so happy to see the crows at work. The hawks have been super active lately! Every day I hear two red shouldered hawks, and one red tail hawk screeches in the distance about once or twice a week.

I would if I could! There are about 4 who live here full time. Sometimes a bunch more show up and they all group up together but then the bulk of them spread out. We are definitely lucky!

Dang, you really did luck out this year!
I would try feeding the crows, but I've also had problems with crows getting my birds, so I'm torn. Lol

Yeah I saw that someone lost a chicken to a raven so that had me a little nervous. The chickens do alert when crows fly over, so maybe they aren't perfectly safe. However, we haven't had an issue with them yet and I'd much rather bear that risk than see Hawks get away with murder!

Oh yes, I concur with that.
For me, the crows/ravens went after eggs and chicks under the age of 2 months.
So, in theory, your ladies should be just fine.

There was one day that there were 3 crows landed, I whistled for my ladies and gentlemen to come for treats, believe it or not, they just ran right past/through the crows! It was the craziest thing.

Oh yes, I concur with that.
For me, the crows/ravens went after eggs and chicks under the age of 2 months.
So, in theory, your ladies should be just fine.

There was one day that there were 3 crows landed, I whistled for my ladies and gentlemen to come for treats, believe it or not, they just ran right past/through the crows! It was the craziest thing.

Treats make chickens fearless! I mistakenly called them for treats after a couple had gone to bed and they came flying out so fast, they almost hit the fence now I make sure to do treats before anyone gets up on the roost.
