Water belly or EYP

I just took a 4 year old RIR from a friend. Her belly is huge. And apparently has been like that for a year. It's squishy and large enough to fill the palm of my hand. I thought it might be water belly and so I tried draining with a syringe. First time I got about half a cup of cloudy yellow fluid. Next day about quarter cup of same kind of fluid. Hasn't made any difference to her belly. Since its cloudy I'm thinking maybe EYP . any hope for her?

Ascites fluid is pale yellow. EYP fluid is dark brown and smells very foul due to the bacteria in it.

Both are terminal, though. EYP will kill a bit more quickly.

The fluid is cloudy yellow. What I don't understand is that apparently she's been like this for a year
