I have a broody that has 4 chicks. I had them sectioned off with a 12 inch high partition and today the chicks are able to escape. (ok) One other problem, the water in the "yard" is a large plastic dishwash basin and I am afraid that if they get in, they will drown. What is a good way to give water that the chicks can reach, not drown in and that the adults can have plenty of? I live far from a feed supply store so I am hoping to rig up something here at home.
