Water in the barn for ducks in the winter

This will be my first winter in New England with birds & with a barn.

My barn is OLD & some floors are dirt, some are wood..and have even started rotting.

I know im not going to be able to keep my ducks pool filled since it will freeze- but..what about water?. I have 2 things..how do i keep water in the barn so that it wont get the hay all wet & stinky & how do i keep several water dishes from freezing?. Right now I keep a duck pool & assorted size bins for water. I know the ducks need to be able to submerge their bills & faces.

Go to Menards (if you have one), and buy some of their $14 electric dog water dishes. That's what I did a couple weeks ago. I have some that are a little larger that I bought off the internet last year for $42.
Also, buy a power switch with an off/on switch; doing that, you won't have to unplug the dog water bowls.
