You can request a water hose to 1/2 inch pvc hookup for an additional $3.50.

These units are used in commercial chicken farms to mist the air and keep the birds cool during hot days.
They fit a 1/2 inch pvc pipe and use standard water pressure or can be hooked up to a pressure system to increase flow.
They should not be mounted over 4 feet off the ground in an open area and can be mounted as high as 8 feet in an inclosed area such
as a coop or barn. They roughly use 1/4 to 1/2 gallons per hour per unit depending on water pressure.
These units can be mounted vertical or horizontal and still work. The misting nozzle can be unscrewed and cleaned
from the pvc unit, if needed.
These units do not scare my birds like those systems sold at hardware stores.
