water problem! Need help!

Call them back and ask if they've been working anywhere on your line today. Usually when they have to open a line to repair/replace something it stirs up sediment and flushes it out to the houses on the line. When I lived in NM they were replacing old water lines and we had that mess at least several times each month.

It often gets like that if they flush hydrants too. Did you check with any neighbors to see if they are having any problems?

I called the water dept back...twice more, and they finally came out and opened the fire hydrant up. That took care of the problem. I'm so relieved! Thank You all!
