I have chickens and ducks. Ducks need a pond to swim in but I don't want chickens to drown. How do I solve both problems? We hope two merge the two breeds next week

they are different species

u can get a kiddy pool and ducks can be satisfied with that ( i personally have a pond but for ones in our little hospital they have a kiddie pool that is changed every 2 hours so it stays clean

no it just wouldnt be deep enough for them to drown

My chickens have yet to fall into the duck pond. They stand on the edge for a drink, but have yet to slip in.
