Water source in incubator?

Newbie here going into "lockdown". Do I need to add a water source to incubator for newly hatched chicks? I assumed their first drink would be in the brooder the day after hatch.

No, I don't believe you have to. While you do have to increase the humidity for lockdown, they do not need to drink that soon

Once they're in the brooder and walking around, you'll want to dip their beaks into the waterer to show them where it is (and you should have a quail waterer or marbles in a regular one). They may not drink right away, but in a while a few will start drinking and then the others will figure it out.
