Striker couldn't take it anymore, she could at least just take a quick dip. She raced toward the lake and jumped in soaking up all the water she could and happily bathing.

"I haven't seen any kelpies in a long time. I am sure I'm the only one in this area." She said.
"Well now you'v seen one. And there's plenty more in my herd. Four more." He replied. "Plus, nearby they are trying to catch a stallion being helped by-" He snorted in disapproval, "Another one of us. Now I need to go soon, if they failed it's up to me to poison our prey." Said Unknown.
"I will. I think I just heard someone scream the name 'Clive'.." He swam away."Okay. Go then." She said simply and turned into her Kelpie form. She started walking back into the water.
"I will. I think I just heard someone scream the name 'Clive'.." He swam away.
(Striker was finished bathing, then she ran back to the stable to find Clive still resting. He seemed peaceful when he slept. "Clive." She whispered, nudging him gently. He didn't move. "Come on silly get up!" She chuckled with a smile, nudging him a bit harder "Clive?" She began to worry as he didn't move. "Clive!?" She nudged him with her head and tried getting him up, but he didn't move. "Clive?!" She screamed trying to get him up. She put her head to his chest, silence. His heart had stopped. Striker' s face soaked with tears "No don't leave me! Your the only one I have left! Everyone else has left, you can't leave too!" She cried. She got up and walked to the lake, her head low as she returned to the lake near Jinx' s herd.
They didn't see Striker so close yet, but they wouldn't bother attacking.Striker lay down next to the lake edge, crying. Nearby she saw that Jinx and the herd were tending Lily. Striker looked at her reflection in the water, her species was horrible and brutal, merciless! She hates herself. If Clive... ugh forget about it. I couldn't protect him.
