Water temperature

Can't find my favorite book. What is the ideal water temp for dunking the chickens to pluck. We have a plucker. Starting in 30 minutes or it will be trial and error. You would think after 5 years I would remember. Have to put it in the recipe file

150 seedmed to be the best temp. Knocked off the first 75 of approx. 200. There is nothing better than home grown chickens. I don't enjoy the processing but knowing what you are putting in your body makes it woth it.
 
My husband pheasant hunts and those are skinned but I prefer the skin on birds. One bird was a little hot and the skin was tearing and skinning was a pain. I guess it is all what you are used to. I am old fashioned and skin on is the norm from childhood. Thanks for the input. It was a successful day. I am making notes so I don't forget the layout of tables, tubs, pluckes, cones, ect. I am getting old and next year it will be a vague memory.
