Hi Guys,

I'm new to the world of incubating and hatching eggs, so I was wondering if someone could tell me what the water wigglers are for, what they do, and if they are necessary for a succesful hatch.

Thanx!

Alyssa

They simulate the egg. So if you put a probe thermometer inside, you should know the inside temp of the eggs. You need the inside temp to be 99.5 even if the outside temp in the bator says something different.

My DH finally found me one at Walmart for $0.88. I looked at several dollar stores and they don't carry them up here because children would break them in the store.

They are in a net bag, hanging on the wall in the cheapo toy isle. Got mine at Wally World too.
