water wiggler temp fluctuation-how much is allowed

The water wiggler temps are going from 95-102,
I've moved the banter into another room that has less drafts and put it on two chairs facing each other and wrapped blankets around (not over) the banter to block out any possible drafts. I also added a bottle of water.

My eggs are coming this week and I am afraid they will all die in the banter!! Don't know what else to do.

There is no way my hubby will let me go out and buy a decent one. I just posted on the craigslist to see if anyone in the area has one I can borrow in exchange of baby's, besides that I've run out of idea's.

It sounds like your incubator isn't working properly.

First suspect is the wafer thermostat. They are cheap, so replace it with a new one. You can buy them at most agricultural suppliers for a few $.

Then run the test again. With the set up you described, the temperature variation in the wiggler should be quite small.​

Hubby said he will pick one up today, also got him to take a look at it last night and found out it is a forced air unit just the fan wasn't working. He was able to free that up, so now with this new thermostat wafer maybe we will be good to go.
So glad I gave myself a week to get this set up.
