Water wigglers cheap

What are water wigglers and what do you use them for?

You put them in your incubator and insert a thermometer to tell you the internal temp of the eggs. It's a way to better determine heat regulation in incubator. My thermometer registers 100.5 degrees but the wiggler tells me the internal temp is 99.5 and that is what I want so I basically keep it in the incubator to regulate egg internal temp.

If you look on the sight you will see it is a toy that is a 6 inch plastic tube filled with water . It makes it easy to put probe down in hole of center of tube and it simulates egg temp. They are pretty hard to find and you usually need 2 . One for incubator and one for your hatcher.

They sell on poultry supply sites for as much as $12.00 for one.

Wow. That's very interesting. I wonder who first thought to put something like that in an incubator. Sounds like a really cool tool. Thanks for telling me about them.
