Water

It has been really cold recently, and I know you're not supposed to put the waterer in the coop because of humidity. But my question is, how do I give them water? I haven't been letting them outside, and even when I give them the option they opt out since it's so cold and snowy. How am I supposed to give them water if they don't leave the coop?

Well, if they don't leave the coop, your only option is to water them in the coop. If possible provide water several times a day and remove it as soon as they are done drinking. If they don't spill it, you can leave longer.

If the run is buried in snow it might be nice to shovel them a couple paths.

Other than clearing the snow and spreading some shavings or straw in the paths about all you can do is give water where they choose to be.
I have tried to scoop it but they seem suspicious because there is still the thinnest layer of snow. the ground isn't quite even so some snow is still there and they don't like it. thanks for the advice though!

They don't typically spill, unless the waterer is somehow almost empty. so how long do you think is a good amount of time to leave it in the coop? Also how long should I leave it out of the coop? Don't want them to be dehydrated! :)

I don't give mine a choice, if they want water they need to go out. I do clear pathways in the run regularly throughout the day though (which might not be practical for everyone). The first day of snow is always most upsetting for them but once the realize the floor isn't lava they'll at least venture out on occasion to drink.
