Hi!

We have 11 buff orp 3 days old....I am worried they aren't drinking enough water.

The only thing I have to compare to is from last year when we had 29 of them in the brooder so I realize that these new ones this year are going to go thru alot less water & food but I'm little worried that they aren't drinking enough?

We have the waterer right in the brooder with vitamins/electrolytes and we have seen different ones drinking at different times and we've showed them each how to drink a few times now just on the off chance we had missed some.

How much is enough??? Is there a way to tell if they aren't getting enough water???

they sound ok. they have very little bodies and require little bits of water. you could try offering them plain water in another waterer and see if they want plain H2O.
