I have 20 chickens and I cant believe how much water they drink! I think its more than my horse! for real! they drink more than 3.5gallons a day! is this like wierd or what?

i think some one said they average about 2 cups per chick per day. that is alot

actually they can drink up to a 1/2 gallon a day depending on heat, food etc...

Mine have been drinking more when its cold out, that I don't really understand, but whatever, they eat like pigs in the winter too! It is amazing.
