Waterer and Feeder? What kind?

What kind of waterer do people have? I don't mind buying one offline if it's really good about not getting dirty fast and if it doesn't get water everywhere. The nipple system? I only have 5 chicens and I MAY get a few more if I think they can squeeze into my coop. What about the one that hooks up to the waterhose? Anyway, let me know cause if those two arn't that great, I'll just get a simple one at the feed store.
I guess I'll just get the simple feed store feeder? Any opinions will help!

You can make a feeder....with a bucket with a lid..and a slightly larger dick of some sort..here is what I did, on a larger scale, for my 13 chickens.

I used an eyebolt to connect the two pieces together, and a hole in the lid, to put the rope through so I could hang it.

You mentioned squeezing some more birds into your coop. Can you put the waterer outside? It would probably be better anyway because it would keep the bedding from getting wet. Just keep your waterer about level with the birds' backs to keep poop from getting in them. I put mine on a cinder block, and it is about the right height.

You can also get a dog waterer from WalMart that attaches to a hose. You can also raise it to keep it cleaner.

The water is still going to get dirty if the birds are outside. Mine peck in the dirt then get a drink and all my waterers end up with some mud in them.
