Waterer & Feeder that takes up Little Floor Space in Coop

I made a feeder using a 5 gallon bucket with the planter tray. I made about 8 holes all around the bottom. I have placed a funnel inside. The feed pellets still get stuck inside.

What am I doing wrong?
The holes are about 2 inches big, do they need to be made bigger?

This works well and is very easy and inexpensive to make. Don't make the same mistake I did, I had some 2" PVC already so I made it from that and it doesn't feed aas automaticaly as I woud like it to. I am going to go to either a larger diamiter, 4 or 5 inch or I am going ot replace the 90 degree elbow with two 45's with a short length of pipe in between them to give it a little more of a chute into the feeding bin.
I used a circular saw to cut the top off the feeder portion in my basement, what a mess but I know if I did it outside anywhere close to where the chicks are they would find great delight in eating all the little pieces that I am sure have no nutritional value at all.
Be sure to round over the cut edges with sandpaper when you are done as they are sharp.

this waterer seems to work good for me, all others just kept getting knocked over.
