i'd been looking for sebastopols for a long time, finally found a lady about an hour from me that had some. i went and got the last female gosling she had, then a week later went and got a male to go with her. i love them to death!! i got Giselle right after she hatched so she has imprinted on me and will come when i call her.

Story: She caught my eye in a bin of leftover clearance ducklings at the feedstore...the very first duck I ever wanted! I brought her home(with a few of her friends) and posted her picture on BYC. The general consensus was that she was a Fawn & White crested Runner. I couldn't believe my luck! I absolutely fell in love with her and watched her grow and grow....and grow......into a heavy bodied obviously-not-a-runner duck.

So, the mystery deepened, and FINALLY after her feathers came in I posted her pictures here again, and she apparrently a Blue Swedish with unusual chocolate splash coloration. In fact, I think someone here invented the term just for her! I love her and think she is gorgeous.
