And last but not least is this wild wood duck drake. I sat there for over two hours really still to get this photo. It's been my most popular image so far I'd love to find a place to photograph some more but we don't live near that lake anymore. It was in Nebraska before we moved here.

Story: Every year, the 4-H Poultry Club here gets together an order of ducklings from a hatchery. Since I was 'hosting' this, the ducklings were delivered to my house. I was unable to add anymore birds to flock, but I did get to enjoy these babies for the few hours I had them.

name: lazy (1st) and squeakers (2nd)
special: squeaker got her name because when I first picked him up at the pet store she squeaked like no other and has never lost that squeak when being picked up.... as for lazy, we still did not have a name after a couple of days and my six year old and I went to the brooder to feed, water and watch and we noticed instead of standin gon her feet she would lay inbetween the feeder and waterer and just mover her head back and forth from one to the other instead of standing, so my daughter said she was being lazy and it stuck.
