this is my drake he'll be a year old this spring

The drake (Jack) started mounting the hen (Mabel) for the first time a few days ago. So now I'm just waiting for eggs!! Butterscotch isn't a heritage color but I'm assuming that the Call breed is.

This hatching of Chocolate and Black runners is my first encounter with hatching and raising waterfowl.
I have gotten a few from feed stores long in the past...so that said, I am open the the best advice I can get for feeding and watering without the duck mess, and housing or any input at all !
Thanks all...

Here in the Pacific Northwest . especially on the coast here, we have duck weather about 80% of the time, with a few days of freeze to about 30, maybe 25 at the lowest.
So, I guess it would work almost all year.
I still have not figured out why this 1 duckling has hatched on day 22...we were not even lockdown yet.'The only thing I can think of is that they were not kept below 60 after they were gathered, so some development occured.

The duckling is in a brooder now, and the incubator is going in lockdown tomorrow.
Anyone have Welsh Harlequin ?
Would love to see photos, and Cayugas too.
