Waterfowl Only Egg Swap!

Just my 2 cents, but I would drop the whole dibs thing. I think that would get too confusing to keep track of once this thread picks up speed.

I can try and get strictly the chocolates but my kids help round up eggs so I can't be 100% on them but I can send out 8-10 eggs easily of the Muscovies but only 6 at most of the crested pens(daily eggs) that way they are the freshest possible for shipping.

I will take lamike's blue swedish and I will put up Muscovy eggs or Crested ducks ya'll choice

I'll take the chocolate muscovies (with a preference for the solid chocolates!) and offer 6+ white runners with potential appleyard or saxony bonus.

You make your offer, then I say it's mine and at the same time I make my offer, then someone else chooses my eggs and so on it goes. Actually, when you do it right the thread gets a good tailwind and it's gets fun to see if you can grab what you want before the other guy! Once in a while the thread stalls when someone offers something no one is particularly interested in but eventually it gets going again.

I like the idea of waterfowl only because then I don't have to wait on the thread for some to finally pop up among all the chickens

OR I could do a mix of pure appleyard and pure saxony eggs to make 6+

My runners are exhibition birds that have been shown and done well, white, great layers of large green eggs.

I think this thread works a little different

As the first person to offer rarefeathersfarm get first chance of anything that is offered if it is declined by rarefeathersfarm then it can be claimed by anyone. At such time that rarefeathersfarm takes an offer then someone else will need to make an offer and they are first in line to claim before anyone else can take the offer and so on.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

That was only if mine was the first offer. Now--whoever made the first offer (since we started all over) is the one who gets to claim the responding offer or wishes to pass....
