Waterfowl-Pond-Garden?

I was thinking of a lil idea of building a Pond which can can be home to some duck and geese I would like to have. Also I would like to keep fish in it so I can harvest them and use the water to irragate my gardens and orchurds. Has anyone did this or do this if so I would like to have some advice on how to go about it thanks.

The problem with fish AND ducks in the same pond is that ducks think fish make very tasty snacks

Didn't know ducks really feed on fish?

For cheap entertainment I buy feeder gold fish and throw them in to the duck's pool.
