I'm friends with Bill Volkart on Facebook, and am absolutely convinced he is one of the most amazing people I've ever had the ability to associate with. He is currently injured and unable to work. They live paycheck to paycheck paying their own bills as well as the waterfowl he saves and loves. He does a great job caring for his fowl, and the critters are truely lucky to have them. However, due to this injury they're facing a crisis.
He would be most benefited by monetary donations, and ESPECIALLY needs help in the evenings when he puts his flock to bed. I wish I could get there to help in person... but I'm in Michigan and cannot get there on a regular basis.
The sanctuary is located in Amelia OH.
