Ok, my Cackle gosling/duckling order is due to ship tomorrow. I went to the post office this morning (ya know, the post office that started this thread......grrrrr) to leave a post-it-note with my name and number on it, and to tell them the order would be in Thursday or Friday. A different lady was working this time and she told me 'no' also, AND if the live order showed up here at this post office, she would send it back. 'Back' means if she returns it, they will go to the Dallas post office and then to where ever they come from. That's what she told me. I am calling the post office's main number right now! I'm so mad!

Now the post office main people are saying that YES the post office can refuse the order.....do you even know how violent I feel!!!????

I'll be on the phone all day with cackle now, trying to get them to change shipping location....my odds of success are not looking good, how upsetting!

Start singing Hallelujah! My call got answered on the first try to Cackle, I have the post office location changed (crossing fingers it gets done) and all SHOULD be well. Cackle said my post office can't do what they're doing and gave me their post offices number so I can call them, and get them (phew) to call my post office and set them straight. I will do that AFTER my new babies are safe here with me! (Screams........oh, so tired now)

So calling the main post office number 3x, I've gotten three different answers about this issue. Screw'em.

Omg I can just imagine how you're feeling, after waiting soooooo long and then have them come up with that. It sucks. Well it's great that cackle did change your shipping address let us know how it goes. Good luck. Let us know what you get too!

Thanks. I told hubby-man It's not the money I might lose, it's the thought of a dozen babies being sent back by that FAT COW (sorry God) and them DYING of starvation/heat in a card board box cuz some simple minded LAZY TWIT won't do her job, is what bothers me. I would feel so horrible if they die. I hope within the next 48 hrs they will be here....I'll put up pics if someone can tell me how to add them to my post.....

Can't believe such heartless people exist in this world, it's not like shell have them on her house taking care of them, all she has to do is call you it'll probably take her more time and efford to send them back. It just makes me mad that some inocente little babies will have to pay for such a horrible person. Well it's good you'll be getting your chicks somewhere else. About posting pics it's really easy there's a thread about it, but to make it really simple when you post a post or reply to something there's a tab on top that says IMG press on that after you do that you'll get something like this

Yeah!!! Got the call at 6am, from the BETTER post office, drove over and got my new babies!!! YEAHHHH!!!

Obviously Rouen for the ducks, but the geese??? I'm think African. Yes / No???

Heheheeee, I'm very pleased, even hubby said they look healthy as can be....let's keep it that way. All are eating and drinking and squeaking , and we know with these 'water babies' I'll be filling up the waterer ALLLL day.

OMG there adorable!!!!!
Im so jelaous I wanted mine to be africans, I got all white chinese instead but im completly satisfied with these beauties, take as many pics as you can as they wont stay like that for long, mine are huge now, I was just comparing the pics of when they were a a week old and now a mere 2 weeks later I cant even believe there the same little geese that came in a tiny box. Congrats on your Geese Im sure youll enjoy them as much as I enjoy mine.
