Watering chicks

I have 8 baby chicks but i want them to learn to use the adult waterers. I had no problems teaching my older chickens but since these babies were born here and not store bought they only do what mom says . these are my 2 waterers. as of right now the blue one i think is a tad to low for mom to show them. the red one is one they can just stick their beaks in. i feel the red one will be easier to learn. I also have 2 baby chick waterers that hold a gal of water each but since im going on vacation for a couple days and these babies were a surprise im trying to cover all my bases .

my aunt offered to come check on them as well i just dont want accidents that could have been prevented.

Put a block under the one that you think is too high so the chicks can get up there. But as long as momma has access to the same one the chicks can get to she’ll show them how to use it.
