Watering Ducks in brooder

so... I’ve tried everything to keep the brooder somewhat dry. Multiple waterers. This is the best yet! Milk jug inside a deep salad bowl.

My girls are 4 weeks old.

Put a hole near the bottom of the bottle. A round bottle actually works better for use in the milk jug.

The duck tape was a stupid idea as was the green thing. I put some of that rubber shelf liner from Dollar Tree over the top of the hardware cloth and now it's all working great.

Theyre lined up perfectly too! She used a ruler a compass i bet. She does things right!

I think I just traced a circle out and then took an exacto knife and carefully cut them out. It wasn't hard! No compass or anything. Milk jugs are thin and very easy to cut.
