After much trial and error, we settled on a large baking sheet with rack, the purchased a small, gallon sized self replenishing dog water dish. Plenty deep for them to dip bills and splash around a little. The tray catches a ton of the water. We just scoop the wet shavings and spread a few new scoops of shavings each evening. Works great!
