Do a search for horizontal nipples and you will find it. Also, he has them on eBay. I can't remember what I paid, I think, don't quote me, 5 for $13. They're worth $100 in my opinion.

Yes they are $13 for 5 with free shipping. a 10 pack is $21. These nipples are the best thing out there and I have used just about everything that is currently available.

If you design and build you a system with 1/2" PVC pipe --use 1/2' threaded tees with reducing bushings to 1/8" npt thread to screw in the nipple, (there are 1/2x1/2-slip x1/8 threaded reducing tees if you can find them)-- you will never have to worry about watering your chickens again. Use your imagination and come up with the largest reservoir that you can reasonable use. You can plumb the entire thing with PVC, You can put a float in your tank and hook a water source to it and it will remain full all the time. With a system with a float you can use a small bucket and keep it full feeding your nipples, the only thing you can't do is have household pressure directly to the nipples. This is why you need a reservoir that has the float valve so you can gravity feed to the nipples. I have a 55 gal rain barrel that catches water off the top of my coop and gravity feeds the nipples, I seldom ever have to add water to it. If your concerned with winter freezing(I don't have to worry about it) you can put a loop pipe system and a small pump and circulate your water, with a stock tank heater it will never freeze.

So many options you just have to decide which one is best for you and your situation. The only thing you shouldn't consider changing is using the horizontal nipples, they are great.
