Watering system help!

I have 5 coops/runs that are in one area but not exactly side by side... I am looking to build a watering system with some PVC, nipple waterers and a rain barrel... Eventually (hopefully by next spring) I will be building a 25 ft wide run with 6 different pens in it and will have one long watering system so I would like to perfect it now and then just move it later..

Does anyone have a setup like this?

Can I see pics?

Can I just use ACV to keep water algae free or should I use something else?

Does anyone have any tips?

I would greatly appreciate any help y'all could give me on this.. I'm sick and tired of cleaning out waterers all the time and now I have two that have weathered and broken on me so I'm looking at another option...

I currently have a hanging 20 litre container with 4 # 360 nipples on the bottom. My 12 were using the nipples before I had even finished filling the container

I fill it about 3 times n two weeks and as it has a cap it stays clean. The girls don't mess it up with their scratching as it is up off the ground.

Found the nipples on ebay and would not go back to the old red tray with an up ended container on it. Took about 20min to fit the nipples and total cost was about €30.

The guy on ebay had a few videos up showing various ways to set up using these nipples and I was impressed. Worth looking at even if you are not buying from him.

I am currently using a 5 gallon bucket that feeds into pvc pipe with the chicken nipple installed in it. This is a small set up for now, but could be easily converted into a larger set up by adding a bigger barrel and more pipes running off of it. It can be as simple or elaborate as you wish. Let the imagination flow. Here are a couple of pics for ideas. Hope this helps. I do not know about the ACV as i have never used it.

ACV will help reduce the algae growth. Also might want to paint the white PVC pipes to block sunlight.

I like Allen095 idea of using the garden hose to connect the bucket to the PVC watering pipes. Seems like that would give a lot more flexibility should you ever decide to move things around.
