Watering system

Can someone explain to me this kind of watering system with the cups? I want to make a system but there's low pressure hoses, regular pressure hoses, and different accessories. Can someone explain how to set it up? I want to use the hoses instead of the pvc pipes

I have a pressure regulator with a gauge on mine. It is fed from the regular water line and limits the amount going into the low pressure tubing. I bought it along with the cups and other bits. Maybe you were supposed to buy it separately? It looks like this
