there was NO ONE at this swap. I showed up with my dog hoping to have some distraction training, didn't happen so he got to go in the store and meet some people in the store as well as go to agway where he met even more people (including one he did not like) and then we drove around town looking for a vet that was open with a scale. ended up at the local feed/grocery store to find out he weighs 124#. just a little thing. but I hope to see many people at the pet celebration event oct 20th 10-3. they will have halloween pet dress up contest and photos, a dog obedience demo with a local trainer, maybe some agility and as soon as I find out what else they have planned, I will post it up. they do want to have a farm days swap if anyone is interested. I don't have but one silkie left to sell so I'm going to bring that one and dress it up.

so tonight I made a costume for my chicken to be dressed up. he will be coming to the swap to be sold and he'll be something to see for sure. i also will be doing an obedience demo with my dog and a few of his friends. they are having halloween portraits taken, costume contest and I'm still waiting on what else is going on (in store specials and several buy one get one deals- did you get coupons? if not pm me your email and I will refer you)
so whos going to go and set up to swap? should be a fun day regardless.

need to edit this. the store employees don't know if there is a costume contest or not so I guess that is up in the air. communication is a issue. dog obedience demo is at 12-12:30 range. outside if its nice or inside the store.

I plan on stopping by; it will be later in the day since my eye exam is at 10:30 in Augusta.

Not that I need more chickens! But maybe I'll bring a few of my Buckeye hens and see about swapping for another breed.

if it's raining, some things will be going on inside. the swap, depends on how hard it's raining but normally it's pretty quiet if it's raining as we set up outside.

had a pretty good day despite the rain off and on. great obedience demo with a scent and agilty demo. the swap season is slowing down for sure.

the store was great, they offered some canopies to the swappers outside so we didn't get wet.
