Watery Eye

Hello! This is my first post and I’m desperate. I’ve gone through a few diseases in 3 chickens and this is new. My Roo, Hay Hay, has ONE watery eye, attached is the picture from today. The other eye is fine. I’m not sure what he’s done or what it is. I was gone away for a few days and my husband looked after my girls, then I come back and he has this. I have LS-50 on the way, should be here Saturday. I can’t afford a vet visit right now as I spent a lot on another hen. He’s eating fine as well and doesn’t seem lethargic. Only thing I’ve noticed is he will randomly stand and nod off to sleep then wake back up. Sorry if it’s a lot, I’m lost at what to do and really want to help him,

I'd clean and flush the eye out with saline, try to get the eye open well to remove pus, debris, etc. Put an ointment like Terramycin eye ointment in the eye or you can use Original Neosporin.

I ended up getting the terramycin today. I’ll be waking up early to apply it. So put it directly inside the eye?

I would do it tonight but he choose the far side of the coop to perch on and he’s not in arms reach ahha I’ll wait until he’s out and about around 4am

Yes, put the ointment in the eye.
