I have four chicks that are 3/4 weeks old. For the past week or so, all my chicks have been having water poop/diarrhea. Though, it’s not all at once or it’s in pairs. I keep their feed and water clean, and change their bedding every other day (since they’re outside for a few hours a day). I don’t think is Cocci because none are showing any symptoms other than watery poop/diarrhea. There are a few who like drinking a lot of water, then eat a lot. They have electrolytes and I’m planning on giving them a round of probiotics. They came from the hatchery vaccinated. What should I do?

You didn’t say whether or not they are under a heat lamp. If they are, they may be getting too hot causing them to drink a lot and eat less which can cause the problem you are having. Otherwise, how are they acting?

Are they consistently given water with electrolytes? They're not meant for long term usage because of high sodium, which could be contributing to them drinking more to try and compensate for it.
