Watery stool and bare butt

Hi Chicken friends,

We have one hen who’s been having very loose stools for a couple of weeks now. At first I thought it was because we gave them half a watermelon, but the diarrhea has continued. When I let them out this morning I saw her poop and it literally just looked like a squirt of clear water came out. Now all the feathers below her vent are gone too.

Has anyone seen this before?

No changes in diet, and her behavior otherwise appears normal. The rest of the flock is fine.

I’d appreciate any help!

I went and checked on her again today, her crop is very full and squishy. I will check that again in the morning to see if that’s working the way it should. It looks like she has been falling asleep standing up in the run, at least closing her eyes for a long time.
