Wattle development

Hi!

I'm hoping I'm wrong, but my chicks are four weeks old now and one that I could have sworn was a girl seems to be developing small wattles. Is there any chance that she's just an early bloomer instead of a rooster?. Already have two other confirmed roos in the seven I have and would prefer not to have another.

Yes, it's possible the bird is a pullet. A lot depends on the breed that she is.

BYM, so unsure. Ayam cemani x a bunch of other breeds.

I do know that some breeds have them on both roos and hens. What do the tail feathers look like?
