That's adorableMy bird is actually the one in my profile, Biscuit. He's a crele OEGB and he's the sweetest!! He'll come running whenever I go out to feed the chickens, and he'll hop up in my lap and sit there for a long time. He also follows me around everywhere, and will sometimes follow me back to the house, where he proceeds to wait on the back porch for treats. He pecks the glass and crows, trying to get attention. He also loves to sit with me and help me write my stories. He hates spending any time without me in his line of sight. I will also add that he loves to sit on my head at times and crow.
Beautiful turkey, @Luv my Hens! Real quick, do you think you can add why your turkey is so special to you, please? Thank you!
An entry is one picture of your domestic poultry and a blurb about why they hold a special place in your heart.
“ Fforest is my flock's most popular roo, and he has a splendid set of wattles”
I’m a sucker for a grand set of wattles! He’s adorable!

This duck represents my daughter's duck "Shiver me Timbers" or just Timber. The way I got the duck was, one time I wanted chickens and when my husband drove to the big city "Spokane" 4 hrs from where I live, he said "do you want anything from town?" Chickens! I said. On his way back from Spokane he stopped everywhere looking for chicks. He didn't find any. Then before coming home he stopped in a town called "Brewster" the had a feed store, and bought one duck. When he brought it home, we pretended he got it for my daughter. She was about 7 at the time. She loved that duck for 1 day and then said- "Can you take this duck? It will not stop nibbling me!" When ever the duck would see people it would shiver with excitement. That is why we named it Timber. It liked to hop on your lap and get love, and then hop off to poop, so it was a polite duck. When it was getting love, it always would chase off chickens so they would not get any of the love.
The photo needs to have been taken by you.
Oh, I love that picture of him in that costume! What an awesome drake! Thank you for sharing! This is Cheese! He is probably my most favorite duck! I Did not mean to get him, but I bought two ducklings and one died so I wanted you to get a new one to keep the other company. It turned out they were both boys and I consider selling them both but they were so sweet! Cheese turned out to be very nice and the other duck turned out good too, but he’s just very dramatic and not that nice when I hold him.cheese is very good and nice and he comes places with me all the time. He came to a trunk-or-treat at my church and dressed up as a ghost and was very good to everyone who pet him. Cheese is a very good duck!View attachment 4040977View attachment 4040978
