Open Contest Wattle I Do Without You?

This is Maverick. He is my oldest bantam rooster in my flock and one of the originals I started with. He puts his entire flock before himself. He will be the last one to eat to ensure everyone else is fed( don't worry maverick has his own hidden food zone so I can make sure he eats) and will be the last one to go to bed after we tuck everyone away. Yes, he will walk with me or ride my shoulders as we close up all the coops. It is only when he sees everyone is safe then he will go to sleep. I absolutely love him. He is kind, generous and loving to all.

Awwww what I sweetie! My wee Mr Little Chicken is like that also.

How old is your wee gentleman?

This is Luna, a sweet 4 year old Black star hen I got as an adult. She was one of the 6 first hens and the first of them to die, with her date of death being July 17 2025. She was the sweetest and the most favorited out of the 6.

One of my favorite hens, Summer. She is a 1 year old BEAUTIFUL Buff Orpington. She is my favorite buff orpington and the prettiest one of the 2. She is turning 2 in July. She is one of my sweetest, friendliest, and prettiest hens. I love her and I will make sure I have her as a friend for as long as possible.

Ini mini is a Dutch bantam. Rare in the US and Canada, but very common in the Netherlands. They are very convenient for people with small gardens.

They very much remind me of my wee OEGB Bantams I have here, though my male doesn’t have the splendid tail plumage those in the Wikipedia pictures have. They look a bit more solid than mine, but very similar ♥️

I have not heard of any around my area for sale.
