Do all Cockerels have wattles? I have a young (12 - 15 weeks) bird that I am pretty sure is a Roo, but I cannot definitively tel! (S)He has a pea comb, and no wattles. Do all roos/cockerels have wattles?

Can you post a picture of the bird? I'm not entirely sure if all cockerels have large wattles -- some breeds might have smaller wattles, making it hard to tell.
In most breeds, though, cockerels have larger, redder combs and wattles that develop sooner than those of the pullets.

He's the pea combed one. I'm pretty sure I've got 3 cockerels

I have a 13 week old who looks just like your black one with no wattles. What did it turn out to be? I think mine is a roo - I’m just really clutching at straws now
I recommend for the best responses, post a photo of your chicken in it's own thread. You will get many people answering you this way. Be sure to follow photo guidelines in the beginning of the "what breed or gender is this?" forum for the best results. Good luck!:)
