I'm Sandra, twenty-three, from North Carolina.
All of my pets are named after different types of pasta. :p

I'm pretty new to the chicken world.

I got 4 welsummer bantams three and a half weeks ago.
I have three hens named Barbina, Pastina, and Stelline and a rooster named Tortelloni.
(or Barb, Tina, Stella, and Loni for short)

I also have two hermit crabs and two betta fish.

I love to bake. I'm currently working on perfecting a cupcake recipe for the State Fair in October (I won third place last year!).

Erm, I don't really know what else to say. So, uh, HI! :bun

Good luck with your cupcakes. Hope you win it this year.

Thanks! I think I have the cupcake recipe pretty much done but I still need to work on my frosting recipe.

Last year I submitted chocolate-orange cupcakes with orange buttercream. They were quite tasty.

This year I'm working on something inspired by the samoa (carmel delite) Girl's Scout cookies.

I still have 5 weeks to get everything perfect, though.

Hey Girl
I'am an old old old man getting started with chickens down here in South Carolina in York. Put some eggs in to hatch this week and need input on how to do it. I have six working girls and one lazy roaster. Liked your email and thank you have a good looking roaster do you get the eggs from them? Jim
