I have 1 guinea keet who is tiny compared to hatch mates and it got stuck in the feeder at a few days old. We splinted its leg for a week and it was fine but after being outside it reinjured it and its twisted badly. It eats, drinks, plays etc but it seems painful as it twitches and vibrates while standing on it. Is there any way to fix this ourselves?

I just don't know. I have guineas, ( I call the Girls ) and my neighbor has boys (The Army).

My girls sleep in the coop and free range during the day. The Army comes first thing in the morning and go home, to roost in trees, at night. Two of the males I call Skippy. I'd sooner say a coon might have grabbed them in the night. They have been skipping for years and it doesn't seem to bother them.

A relative of mine had a chicken with a broken leg and she put a splint on it. It healed just fine but the broken leg is now much fatter then the other. She is walking like new.

Don't know what to tell you??? :-/
