Ways to change a chickens sleeping spot?

I currently have a rooster and 4 hens that sleep in a tree. The roo chose this location last year and he is stubborn about going into the coop. I recently got a new small coop for them to sleep inside only. How can I change his sleepin spot? Should I move him at night until he gets the hint?

What size it the Coop? It's been recommended 4sq ft per chicken in the Coop, 10sq ft per chicken in the Run. You'll need to catch them all & keep them cooped up for several weeks, make sure there's a nice roost in the coop for him. They like to be as HIGH as they can get.
