Ways to increase quails egg production

Hello everyone, I incubate my own quail eggs with 85% hatch rate , finally 49 quails survive with 13 roosters and 36 chickens , even with 4 months old I only get maximum 4 eggs in Total and sometimes I don't get nothing at all , even that I give them high protein feed , so i hope that light supply will end this problem , I did a solar system bulbs today waiting for good results , is this is right or there is something I missed .

Your ratio of m/f is a bit off. You should have 1 male for 5 hens. The overbreeding can be a stresser. The cage doesn’t have any hiding places, and no areas to dig or sand bathe. Happy quail stay healthier and produce more eggs.

Imo I would keep 7 males for your 36 hens, stop feeding freeloading extra males haha. Put some hides and boxes in. Give them some boxes of sand and dirt to dig and bathe in. Take a look at your feed, be sure it has at least 24+% protein. Maybe put wood chips or leaves on the floor of the cage to make them more comfortable. With lighting, they need about 15 hours per day of light, every day. Also be sure to provide a calcium source like crushed oyster shell, and have it always available.
