So, for the past two weeks our Muscovy has been on the run. After getting picked up by animal control, and subsequently released at a local lake we had all but given up hope. However tonight she was returned by an amazing group of people. As of now she’s looking very bedraggled, and we’re a little concerned. We’re also wondering if there’s any way to stop it from happening in future?

Well, you'd put her in an enclosure that she couldn't escape, or clip her wings, but she may still escape with the latter option. Could you post a picture of her, and what you're keeping her in?

We have her in the old nesting box for our old chicken coop
And sorry on the bad pictures, it’s night
