Wazine

I am treating my layers with Wazine because I found a roundworm in some poo in the coop. Does anyone know how long you have to wait before you can collect the eggs for use again?

I don't think there's a waiting period with wazine.

Slaughter withdrawal is two weeks.. It also says do not use in chickens producing eggs for human consumption..Personaly I have ate the eggs after about a week, no problems..On average the hen only consumes 1/8 oz of actual piperzine per worming..I would think this would be concentrated over several eggs, hardly enough to be harmful unless you are allergic to it.......

Thanks, I appreciate the feedback. I read that the same warnings on the bottle about slaughter so I just figured that I could wait the same period of time. It's good to know that someone has tried the eggs with no ill effects after about a week.

I guess my next question would be this... Should I treat all my birds every so often with this or something else?
