Sorry to tell you - It took a couple of months! In fairness, my job prevents me from working on it during the week. It also took me longer to solve some carpentry questions than it would for someone that has more experience. But even if I was smarter and had more time it still isn't a weekend project. It will take longer than you think.

I started before my chicks arrived and had them in the coop as soon as I finished the inside. (6 weeks)

I don't know what I am going to do with a free weekend!
