When my wife gets my Amex statement for this project I will wish I put Direct TV in the coop, so I can still watch my Red Sox. No... I can't see a roof in my future. (This year)

Buff's set-up is awesome. I wish I could remember the post for the nestboxes... I owe that guy a huge "Thanks".

Oh my gosh, your coop far exceeds my coop. I love the real windows and the handsome door. Well done!!! And I love the raised beds around the corner.

That should win a prize. Love your BYC page too, very well documented and the pics are great.

Simply lovely. And isn't Buff the greatest? She was such a huge help to me, too. Love the BYC!

I am soooooo jealous with your shingles - I wanted shingles in the worst way but the DH said no way. Maybe next summer...

BTW, Isn't it a huge relief when it's DONE?!!

Give that hydrangea some more water. It looks thirsty. And make sure the soil around it is not too compacted. My guess is that it isn't since those boxes look new. Those endless summers will pout for a bit after they are planted but settle in nicely.

I'm still trying to figure out how to have hubby buy the materials and build the darn thing without knowing what I'm spending!

After the huge amount of snow and ice last season, I'm not sure I want to put off roofing the run...I'm thinking I need to just do it all, one big expense, and get it over with...although I kinda prefer the look of your run (and Buff Hooligans and City Chooks) I like the flat top.

SOX RULE! (And didn't the Yankees lose again last night?!

Nails. You can't snap a good line on the Tyvek so the first course is always difficult. After you get that done it goes a bit faster. Windows and doors have to be feathered in so it takes time.

In my neck of the woods the shakes fits right in, so it was worth the extra effort.
